Winter has officially begun and what better time to post a Winter engagement session?

Why yes, I am posting a late Fall engagement session in the middle of the summer. Because why not but also how could I not?

Ah, engagements in the time of Covid. Deeksha and David contacted me to photograph their engagement this past summer. It was timed perfectly right in between different shutdowns.

Chang and Wei picked the location for their engagement shoot and what a unique and beautiful spot they chose! They wanted to shoot at the BEAUTIFUL Dog Tales Rescue and Sanctuary which is featured in the TV show Dog Tales Rescue.

I love to shoot engagement sessions. I especially love to shoot engagement sessions with your doggos! First of all, obviously right I mean dogs just bring so much fun and excitement to a session and secondly LOOK AT HIS FACE! I just wanna smoosh it.

Sometimes I am just so blown away by the beautiful locations that I get to shoot. This engagement session was a prime example of this. Miranda and Dave chose the most amazing spots for their engagement session.

I have never shot an engagement session like this one before. Zehra and Aasif assured me that they were awkward in front of the camera. So many people say this and I have yet to experience that. They were pure naturals.

They had the sweetest idea for their session. Something I always tell all my couples is that your engagement session will feel more personal and more comfortable if you choose an aspect that speaks to you and your relationship. With this in mind, Pam and Robin really wanted to incorporate their car into their session.

Now that the weather has seriously cooled down I thought everyone might be in the mood for a summery engagement session. Chantal and Corey love to mini-golf.
